Conversion utility

That's a very interesting question.

Which SQL?

How would you deal with requests? stored procedures?
How would you deal with environment variables?
How would you deal with multiple output files?
How would you deal with non-relational data structures?
How would you deal with parallel joins? unions?

I'm sure it could be done but based on my experience with SQL the result
would be very messy and difficult to understand, especially the table join
statements.

Why do you ask the question? Wouldn't't embedded SQL in an existing QTP
program work or are you dumping QTP altogether?

Regards,

Blue

Hi there.

Does anyone know of a standalone utility which will convert QTP code into
SQL?

Or alternatively, had anyone achieved the same result using Axiant?

Colin
