It's for fun and fyi, just because.
King Brian was in shock when the battle raged between Satan and God.
Michael, the ArchAngel led the battle and it was furious. The little
ones, who were only knee high, were scared. The king had them hide
under the step of heaven until the battle was over. When confronted,
they told the other citizens they hid. The other citizens replied,
even though we are heaven, if it's not worth fighting for, you really
aren't worthy of remaining as citizens. However, you may choose where
you will dwell. The opted for a place that loved good stories, good
song and cheer. Hence, they were sent to Ireland.
Hidden in underground dwellings, they were closely associated with the
Other, known in mystic circles, as the Sidhe (pronounced Shee). The
old legends of a wailing from the wilderness contains the puzzle of
it's origin, in the name, Banshee. Ban is woman. Hence, the banshee
wailed when her husband passed away forever. Since they are
considered to exist as eternal beings, having one die, was extremely
significant, and defies our understanding.
St Patrick was English. He was enslaved in Ireland and escaped as a
young teenager. His travels took him to a Monastery, where he
accepted Christ, and returned to convert Ireland. This was a daunting
task since Druids ran the mystic circles. In his prayer shield he
makes appeals for protection against Wizards, Smiths (weapons makers),
and such. Face to face with a lot of resistance, he had his monks
record history. He is credited as the primary historian of ancient
Celtic history.
The Celts, originated south of the Rhine. They populated France (the
Gauls), Spain, Northern Greece and a part of them went west, to
Ireland. They learned mystical skills from Tir Na Nog, another
mystical heaven for the Celts. They took Ireland from the Fomoroh
(pirate-like folks who kidnapped and plundered) and they were
eventually driven into Sidhe's by the Milesians (from Spain) who were
the last settlers in Ireland. Mixed and merged with all of these
groups are the Firbolgs, who settled western Connacht and were
brethern to the De Danaan tribe, who were the first Celts to come
directly to Ireland.
Known for passion in battle, the Celts were only defeated once, by
Julius Caesar. Earlier conquests include Vikings, hence the names
Ulster, Leinster and Munster, are left from this era. Tara, the name
so famous in the movie Gone with the Wind, was the seat of the Ard Ry,
the High King. Ulster, Leinster, Munster and Connacht kings were
united by the first High King, Conaire Moore (Connery).
During these European migrations, caused in great part by the Huns,
many tribes were taken over and genetically, many who believe they are
of European extract, are in fact, part Hun (Mongolian). Ruan, the
uncle of Attila, drove many tribes west. Attila was actually raised
in Rome, traded for Caesar's son, who was raised by Ruan, as an act of
peace.
Happy St. Patty's Day!
