Answers usually suit the question that was asked. I wondered whether you might want
ITOQ, but you specifically asked about creating a dictionary from a "schema". That's
why many of the answers were in the direction of converting a PHD to PDL. "ITOQ"
means Image to QDD or perhaps Quasar (former name of Cognos). If you had asked "How
do I create a dictionary from an Image data base," the correct answers would have
been rapidly forthcoming.

Now that you have found ITOQ, make sure your system manager does not purge the files
in CURRENT or PH609 before installing a new release, as Cognos does not seem to be
distributing it any longer. I think I saw some reference on this list a while back
about a newer program to convert TurboImage to PDL language, but I cannot find it
now. (Bob Deskin: will you please jump in here.) I do see QDDTOPDL in the new
releases.

the ITOQ program. I knew there was such a program but couldn't remember the
name of it.
