(1) access file a &

link key-a of file a to key-c of file c
(2) access file a &
link key-a of file a to key-c of file c &
link ("abc") to key-b of file b
In other words, only one record is being retrieved from file b which has no
relationship to either file a or file c. I have done some (inconclusive)
testing, anyone know which is more efficient, or doesn't it matter????

My guess is, it won't make a bit of difference. It the key is unique, Quiz
will read the record once on the first record complex and simply retain it in
memory for the rest of the run. Now, this works only if you've actually TOLD
Quiz (in the dictionary) that it is a unique key. If the key is declared as
repeating, but there is only one record actually in the file , then I suspect
Access statement 1 will be faster.
