No, no, not really. Not a Powerhouse solution anyway.
It would be nice though.
It's possible on VMS to purge the terminal type-ahead buffer, but only before
Quick has read it into its own buffer, which I suspect is not what's required.

There's a VAX program (for watching/slaving another session) that pokes
characters into the terminal buffer as if they'd been typed. If there's
anything similar for HP it might do the job, although it's a fairly nasty
low-level hack.
