Does PowerHouse allow remote DB access on HP3K?

Hello,

Now I would just like to establish whether one can do remote DB access on
the HP3000. Here is what I have tried. Note that QUERY allows access just
fine.

DSLINE CRASH
REMOTE HELLO SLINE,USER.MMS3000,PUB

<<<no file equations of any type for MMSDB1>>>

QUERY
>B=MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000:CRASH
PASSWORD = >>
MODE = >>5
SET=LPR
>FIND PNM-PART = "0PH4-5"
1 ENTRIES QUALIFIED
>R ALL
PNM-PART =0PH4-5
LPR-SEQNO =1234
RES-RESNO =0PH4-5
LPR-REST ='NULL ITEM'

>From the dictionary:

    Record: LPR
    of File: MMSDB1
    Organization: DETAIL
    Type: TURBOIMAGE
    Open: LPR of MMSDB1
    Record Size: 108 Bytes

Each of the following file equations were tried before running QUIZ
at their own separate times (I see that MMSDB1 is not qualified in the
dictionary):

FILE MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000=MMSDB1:CRASH
FILE MMSDB1=MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000:CRASH
FILE MMSDB1.PUB=MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000:CRASH
FILE MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000=MMSDB1.PUB.MMS3000:CRASH

Each attempt returned the same result:

QUIZ
> ACC LPR
> REP ALL
> GO
*E* Data access error. (LPR)
*E* MPE FILE ERROR 49 RETURNED BY FOPEN ON ROOT FILE (LPR)
>

The HP error manuals report on above error:

-1 MESSAGE MPE file error nn returned by FOPEN on root file
                      or data set nn

CAUSE For DBOPEN, error may indicate that database could
                      not be opened. Possible reasons:

                          * Database name string not terminated with
                              semicolon or blank.
                          * Database does not exist or is secured
against access by its group or account
                              security.
                          * Database is already opened exclusively or in
                              mode incompatible with requested mode.
                          * MPE/iX file system error occurred.
                          * MPE/iX file system limit has been reached.

For DBOPEN, DBINFO, DBFIND, DBGET, DBUPDATE, DBPUT,
and DBDELETE, error may occur if:

                         * The process has too many files open external
                             to the database.
                          * Data set does not exist or is secured
                             against access.
                          * Some other MPE/iX file system error has
                             occurred.

ACTION Determine which of probable causes applies and
either modify application program or see system
                      manager about file system error.

Does PowerHouse allow remote database access?

Thank you.
