Indexed Subfiles in QUIZ

I'd like to thank everyone for your responses.  With 
your responses I was able to figure out what I was
doing wrong.  Where I work, we like to qualify where 
the subfile location. Therefore, the access statement: access filespec link field1 to field1 of 
*../data/indexed-subfile.  This access statement will
not work.  Try it out.  Looking at your examples, none
of them had a "path" attached to the subfile.  I 
decided to change to the directory where the subfile is and tried this access statement: access filespec link field1 to field1 of *indexed-subfile.  This worked.  Again thank you for help.  This is going to make "life" so much easier.
