I was plagued by a quality auditor some time ago, and was able to say (being a
VMS site) that all our dates were 4 digit years internally, and had been for
some time.

I did say we had a year 10,000 problem though, and his eyes lit up, and he
started taking notes, then he figured it out, and went away and stopped
bothering me.
