Impromptu-Using SQL

What do you mean by "won't let you create an SQL statement"?
If the problem is that you don't have an EDIT button to click on, then the
user class that you are using does not have Edit SQL enabled.
Or are you saying that you have the button, but on the report that you are
trying to EDIT the SQL on does not allow this - i.e. it returns an error
message? If so, there is a good chance that the report you are working is
doing things that are more than the SQL that you see and therefore will not
allow the visible SQL to be edited.

Subject: Impromptu-Using SQL
I am using Impromptu over dBase files. In the profile of the query for a
report, it won't let me create an SQL statement. Is this because I am
doing something wrong or because I'm using dBase. I am the supervisor
and I checked and have rights to do this.
TIA
Bruce
