For some reason my replies back to the list are always rejected by the moderator. So I'm copying Ron Seybold directly also.

Back in the 1990's I ran a Powerhouse application on MPE called "Visibility" it also migrated to HP-UX, but I think the licensing costs were on a par with both operating systems.

It sounds cheaper to stay on MPE, even if it is just a daily copy of the data and the application migrates. Might even save money by moving to a lower tier MPE system to host the copied data.

My .03 USD worth, adjusted for Obamacare.

Hi friends,
You don't often hear from me. I'm editor of the 3000 NewsWire and have readers who use Powerhouse. One of my readers reported that he got a $300,000 quote to move 20 seats of PowerHouse to Linux off of MPE. Is that even possible? Seems steep indeed.

Anybody here using Powerhouse on Linux?
Thanks,
Ron Seybold
