Hiding a footing in Quiz

That was the standard trick.

The other one was to have defined item(s) that were just either 'blank' or
a '.' (period), so that you could control the printing of 'blank' lines
when using SET NOBLANK, and force one to print. You would put the defined
at the far right (or left). A period was often the least conspicuous
character you could use.
