We are seeking Technical Architect / Analyst – Powerhouse, HP Alpha, Oracle RDB to work in conjunction with our Application Architecture team for an IV + V for our solutions division in Somerset, NJ.
This is supporting a global health-care client for around 2 months of the project. Position is based out of Somerset, NJ with occasional east coast travel.

Req - Immediate Interview – Immediate Start Date 
GalaxE.Solutions' Independent Verification & Validation, or IV&V, is a proven, proprietary methodology and tool set that provides a view into a system's internal workings and behavior.
Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and document existing architecture
• Recommend best practices for developing new application (technologies, coding standards, database / connectivity, etc)
• Performance Management
• Executive level communication skills - this is a client facing experience
• Travel to various client sites as needed

Qualifications:

********Looking for resources with extensive Powerhouse (QUIZ, QTP, Quick) experience********

• Mandatory - Expertise is application architecture 
• Mandatory - HP Alpha, Powerhouse, Oracle RDB (not Oracle DB), Open VMS,
• Nice to Have - REFLECTION
• Mandatory - Ability to travel to client location (Somerset - Pittsburgh - Galaxe will handle all arrangements)
• Nice to have - Pharma industry experience
IV & V Description:
• Provides critical data for migration and integration of legacy applications 
• Executes due diligence for regulated applications 
• Exposes scalability and validation issues early in development cycle 
• Renders what-if scenarios and test services for fail-points 
• Enables development of test management solutions 
• Documents existing systems/applications 
• Identifies performance-critical components and relationships 
• Identifies key technologies that contribute to competitive advantage 
• Includes validation of results through stress tests 
• Counsels client resources on use of new technologies described/introduced 
• Defines requirements, functional specifications and design for enhancements
