Thanks, appreciate it. I am not the main contact at our site, so I didn't

I believe the (800) 365-3968 number you were using is the number for
contacting sales staff at the original Cognos office in Burlington, MA. 

As the transition tip mentions, the IBM technical support number in the USA
and Canada is 1-800-IBM-SERV, that's 1-800-426-7378. If calling within the
USA select option 2 (all other business products and solutions), option 2
again (software), and then option 6 (Information Management - the group
where Cognos software now lives). The Canadian menu is slightly
different...starting with a language choice, but then option 2 is for
software calls, followed by option 2 again.
