OpenVMS Quick Screen calling a Java program

I don't see why not. You're talking about Java on VMS, right? The "run
command" statement should work like it does for any other DCL command. Not
that I've ever used Java on VMS and maybe my assumption that it runs from
monitor like any other VMS tool/product is wrong.

Subject: OpenVMS Quick Screen calling a Java program
Dear Listers:
Assuming somebody is still out "There"....
Would anybody like to comment on this? Can it be done, if not why not? And
is there any kind of workaround? I can call (i.e. excute from weithin) other
Quick screens, 'C' programs, DCL procedures, etc.....
Many thanks for any insight or practical experiences.
