OpenVMS Quick Screen calling a Java program

Dear Listers:
 
Assuming somebody is still out "There"....
 
Would anybody like to comment on this? Can it be done, if not why not? And is there any kind of workaround? I can call (i.e. excute from weithin) other Quick screens, 'C' programs, DCL procedures, etc.....
