Yes, it is Itanium.

I guess I will need to read up on this a little more.  Does anyone have any good recommendation as to read up on this sort of thing?  The regular manuals are good, but do not go into it to the level we have been talking.

My thick head may need some additional reading to get around why the results of my tests are so different on the two machines.  I would expect they might be the same proportionally, but they are not.  They seem to contradict each other when looking at the results of the two machines.
