French language character set

Which terminal emulation soft are you using?

I'm running Powerhouse on OpenVMS 7.3 and I have Reflection on PC and Mac
and I do not have any issues to display é à ê or other french caracters.

Sometimes, the problem comes from the font file used to display the
caracters on screen.  Some fonts do not have thoses embeded in them.  Have
you tried to change the font used by the software to display on screen?
