Farewell

No Richard, no chance of staying on, especially not ABAP. The business
that has implemented S*P (see, I still can't bring myself to write it!)
has gone its own way and wants nothing to do with its former colleagues
who developed and supported the previous, far superior, PowerHouse and
.NET systems. S*P has been forever tainted for me and I want nothing to
do with it. Ever!
 
Thanks to everyone that has sent their good wishes - I will be signing
off soon but I've got another 2 weeks here yet.

No chance of staying on? ABAP is a 4 GL too, and there aren't that many
4 GL'ers out there. Maybe you should point that out to them.

	Hello fellow PowerHouse enthusiasts.
	 
	As a long time avid reader and occasional contributor to this
list, the time has come to say goodbye. My employer has all but gone
belly-up and the largest remaining business has switched to S*P (an
investment which may pay back in 100 years or so), so PowerHouse and VMS
are history. I shall be redundant in a couple of weeks and am looking
forward to doing something useful.
