is anyone aware of how to disable the effect of the '; ' char while entering data into a Quick screen field ?

You can change the character using QKGO. You can apparently disable it
using a control character. Get into QKGO, into the Action and Data Field
Commands screen, and enter ?? in the action field to get a description
of what you can enter generally. I tried a simple test using <20> which
shows as <NUL>. Running a screen using the QKGO I created didn't let me
us the ; as a separator character. I suggest testing this thoroughly.
 
In QUICK, you can change the separator character using the SEP command.
For example SEP" changes the separator character from ; to ". This way
you can change it on the fly.
 
If you enter SEP with no trailing character, you effectively disable the
separator character because there isn't one.
 
Why the SEP command doesn't seem to come up when you do a ? or ??, I
don't know.

	E.g. by default, entering a;b;c into a field will cause the next
three data fields to accept a, b and c respectively - I want to enter
a;b;c in the field I am in. 

	I seem to recall an action field sequence that will do this but
can't recall what it is.
