A few Axiant questions...

I am working on reactivating a long delayed project, and would like to get
some feedback/info from list members who have used the product.

- Anyone used the latest version of Axiant with Oracle 10g Xpress? If so,
  any problems?

- How well does it handle mixed databases use (Oracle, SQL Server 2000)
  in the same application?

- When dealing with BLOB objects, is there anything like 'drag-and-drop'
functionality available? I am looking for a similar facility as is
found in Outlook, when one can attach a picture or a word document
to a message merely by dragging it to the message being composed.
In this particular case, it would be saving scanned documents (PDF),
but also copying webpages showing the result of a search, into a BLOB.
Is this feasable without first saving the web page to disk and then
importing it into a BLOB? The same would go for saving messages from
  Outlook, into a BLOB.

- Has anyone done something like having a batch process (QTP?) run at
specific interval, and have that process send email notification to
one or more users, based on results retreived from a database? I am
thinking here about a notification of overdue actions (trouble ticket
  type of system...)

- How are the controls facility when displaying a picture from a BLOB?
If the image is larger than the frame of the BLOB, are there any
scroll bar cursor, is the image shunk to fit (sort of a tumbnail
  thing)?

- How well can MPEG and MP3/Wav files be retreived/displayed/listened to
  when dealing with BLOB?

- Any way of displaying a 'shrunk' image when a PDF document is being
  displayed from a BLOB?

I am sure I will have more questions later, but any light shed on this
would go a long way in helping select Axiant for that project.

Thanks
