Logical Name translation problem in Quick 840D

Dear Gurus,
 
I have a problem using subfiles in Quick 840D on VMS. A logical is defined for:
 
Define FIN_TRACEABILITY STR$SCRATCH:FT_0000C0B8_2006012309090149
 
Quiz reports the data (Dump *FIN_TRACEABILITY) that is correct
 
Qdesign generates the right field statements, but Quick reports "Data access error (FIN_TRACEABILITY)"

When execute the screen and do a Find I get the error
Data access error. (FIN_TRACEABILITY*01)

%SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file

I'll appreciate any effort to resolve this problem.
