PHTEMP folder location

I think it is the Unix variable PHTEMP.
If you do the following:
export PHTEMP=xxxx
and run QTP, it would create qtpsave and other temp files in xxxx directory instead of your home directory.

This one is for those that know PH and the use of it under Unix quite well.
We're experiencing weird issues with PH 8.23 under the Sun Solaris, and with the PH*.* temporary folders it creates.
Is there a setting in Powerhouse (QKGO, system var?) that can tell Powerhouse to default all temporary files/folders/etc to a designated location?
