subfile with indices

I can't recall which platform but I have seen cases where the subfile had to
be specified including the path as in the VMS example below,

set sub name sys$login:idxsub keep ...

acc * sys$login:idxsub

Regards, Joe.

Subject: subfile with indices

hi

I have a subfile which was created with one of its fields as its index.

If the data of the subfile with index, needs to be reported, is there
any special way of doing it or should the following itself work

Acc *index_subfile
rep all
go

Although there is data in the subfile index_subfile, it says record
selected 0 while executing the above written code and does not display
any data.

can someone tell me what the problem could be?

Regards
subashini
