It is unlikely that there will be a migration guide for AS/400 as the
business volume is not there.

This is probably a good time to mention our soon to be released
PowerHouse MPE/iX Migration Guide. It should be available by the end of
March from the PowerHouse documentation web page
(powerhouse.cognos.com/products/powerhouse/download.html) and from
support.cognos.com. It covers migration from MPE/iX to UNIX or Windows.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have Stephen's approach to handling temporary
subfiles but it does have lots of other good stuff.
The reason for covering MPE/iX is because of the pending end of support
from HP on the HPe3000-MPE/iX platform. Although not specific to OpenVMS
(to UNIX or Windows), it will highlight many of the things that have to
be considered for that migration as well. If there's enough demand, then
we'll do a version for OpenVMS.
