Hi all:
I have just discovered that PowerHouse will not give you
a message if it has to change permissions on a file in order
to replace. But worst it doesn't give you any error at all.
for example:-
---x--x--x 1 pbateman phapps 26112 Feb 22 11:17 bbr212a.qtc
echo $QTC
/devl/home/pbateman/pvcswork
QTP
>BUILD $QTC/bbr212a
0 ERRORS 1 WARNINGS.
---x--x--x 1 pbateman phapps 26112 Feb 22 11:17 bbr212a.qtc
Observe the creation time has not changed Yet, everything looks good.
rm bbr212a.qtc
bbr212a.qtc: 111 mode ? (y/n) y
Moral of the story:- check creation timestamp.
Other than doing
!rm -f $QTC/bbr212a.qtc before the build
Does anyone else have a workaround?
If an error has occured the rm happens anyway.
Regards,
Peter Bateman
