Brett,

Your best bet is to define a SQLLDR .ctl file for the C-ISAM file in it's
native form. I have moved allot of data to Oracle and it is by far the
fastest way.

Subject: Migrating AIX C-ISAM data to AIX Oracle DB

Hi All,

We are investigating on how much effort is required to migrate AIX C-ISAM
data files to anAIX Oracle Database.

We did export 1000 records to a portable subfile, but it required adding a
Carrigae-Return character at the end of the record and it also places a +
sign in front of numerics?

Are there tools that are available for use?
Has anyone done this before, if so how have they done this?

Thanks,
Brett.
