Powerhouse Web vs Domain name - OpenVMS

I'm not a VMS expert so I am assuming that domain name and server name are
one and the same - if not - please ignore the rest :)

I think that your licenses are not going to work because they will all be
looking for the original server name mapped in the license.dat file.

You will have to edit the file and then restart the license server by
running the utilities in the cognos$license area; after first obtaining new
license keys from Cognos.

Regards, Joe.

Subject: Powerhouse Web vs Domain name - OpenVMS

Hi to all members,

Openvms 7.3
PH 8.30z1
Phweb 2.30z1
RMS files

I need to change the domain name of my Alpha because of new SPAM control
mesures from my provider. (SMTP server)

When I change the domain name in TCP/IP, the dispatcher and the phwebserver
are going havoc.

If I put the old domain name back, everything goes back to normal.

Any clues on how to change the domain names without screwing the Phweb ?

I haven't restarted the Alpha yet. Won't be possible before tonight.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
