this might help, I tried string 'site:lists.sowder.com powerh-l error NLS'
at Google and found the comment below, have you got variable COGNLSTAB set ?

It's some kind of file for native language support (the NLS in the name).
 
The udcs that comes with recent versions set the variable as in:
:showvar cognlstab
COGNLSTAB = COGLANG.PH819C4.COGNOS
 
And that file should exist in the appropriate group. Have a look at it if
you like - it's interesting for about 10 seconds :-)

Over the weekend we had a disk crash on our HP3000 system. After replacing
the disk and eventually reloading our system we have a problem with all
PowerHouse modules. When trying to run QTP, QUIZ etc we get the following
error message     *E* There was an error initializing NLS. 

 

Does anybody have any idea what the cause is and how do we get around the
problem.
