We hear of PowerHouse PC being in use from time to time. I guess if it
works, why change. We also hear about old versions of PowerHouse in use
from time to time, and I'm not talking about 7.10.

In any case, QUIZ and QTP were identical to the server versions, taking
machine specifics into consideration. QUICK was very similar but had a
few visual differences due to what it was running on. Functionally it
was very close. Visually, it used 25 lines instead of 24 and some of the
highlighting was different. It was a character interface.

It should be fairly easy to convert a PowerHouse PC system to 8.41D. The
PHISAM files (we wrote our own simple indexed file system) would have to
be converted to portable subfiles and then loaded into DISAM.

We have run across a prospect that is currently using a
home-grown system developed in PowerHouse PC - and I do mean PowerHouse
PC, which is a little hard to believe at this point in time - at least

Are there any similarities to the current versions of PowerHouse
- say 8.41D - or Axiant? I don't even remember what it looked like.
What functionality did it have? A general comparison would be very
helpful. Any background info you could share would also be appreciated.
