Hi Chris,

Just a thought.... when assigning a cache, you should always make sure that
the occurs is a multiple of the cache. In this case your occurring 95 times
and setting the cache at 255 which is the default. It's possible this is
what is messing you up.

Subject: limit of backup movements has been reached

Anyone ever seen this or know what can cause it ?

It's occurring consistently on a stores pick screen of ours: the postfind
looks up sales orders (as a designer file) in a loop (for each line of the
pick primary file which occurs 95 cache); then pushes a designer procedure
which looks up the stock records (again as a designer
file) - there aren't any user-initiated backup movements or any 'pushed'
backup movements.
It's erroring somewhere postfind with 'limit of backup movements has been
reached'.

VMS 7.3, RMS, PH 7.10G3.

Thanks,
Chris
