Can't access SQL Server with Qdesign

Temp keys look ok, presumably they let you use PH to access screens etc
against other/any data ?

Presumably you are accessing via odbc, so do you have odbc entries in both
user DSN and system DSN levels ?

Can you see the database when you type 'show databases detail' in qshow ?

Also, when using ph are you accessing the same dictionary that Axiant uses,
or have you created a new one from your own syntax ? 

Try the following to get the exact syntax that Axiant is using, 1. set
axiant to keep temporary files 2. build the dictionary from within Axiant to
generate the pdl source code 3. go off and find the pdl source file which
was just created by Axiant 4. cut the database syntax from there ( which you
know works ), into your pdl source file for ph 5. compile in pdl and see if
this helps.

Env: PH 8.4D1, Win2K, SQL Server 8.

I can't read the same SQL Server database in Quiz,
Qdesign, etc as I can in Axiant.  The dictionary was
created by Axiant.

Is this because I'm missing something from the
license?
