Ladies and Gentlemen of the List...
I was asked to post this response to the list serv. It was also
noted that you should check your seatbelts before reading it.
You will be receiving both products that are good for six months. If
you use them and like what they can do for your operation .....get

PowerHouse on Windows NT/2000/XP is the same as PowerHouse on the
other server platforms. It is not a GUI (that's Axiant). It runs in a
command box. It's as good a tool as PowerHouse elsewhere. We also
have PowerHouse Web on Windows NT/2000/XP.
For web development (on all platforms), you use QDESIGN or Axiant.
Just like the PowerHouse philosophy, we believe in make it work then
make it pretty. For the web, QDESIGN generates an HTML template. You
make the page work, then you modify the template using whatever
editor (GUI or text) that you'd like.

Am I the only one who read this as saying that we'd all be getting a
copy of PowerHouse and PowerHouse Web for Windows? Later messages
seem to say we'll be getting them, and maybe Axiant, for whatever
platform we're currently on... which is pretty pointless, because we
obviously already HAVE PowerHouse for that platform. I'm lost as to
what is coming to us "free". If it's Web and Axiant, we've already
looked at those and said "no thanks" - but depending on how PH for
Windows _works_, and how much it costs, it may be an option for us...
I'll say up front that if there are more than three digits in the
price per PC, don't bother, and two digits would be far better.
