G'day Michal
I am curious as to why you MUST move to something over than PowerHouse 4GL?
Is there a lot of PowerHouse work in Europe?
Are most existing PowerHouse applications being converted to something other
than PowerHouse?
Does the Belgian company you work for provide PowerHouse applications or did
the Czech client choose a PowerHouse application from someone else?
What are the opportunities for non-European consultants getting work with
either Cognos ADT or BI tools in Europe, particularly Eastern Europe?
I have used Axiant 3.1 a bit and it is a nice tool. I am currently 'forced'
to develop GUI apps using MS Access 2000 or ASP/HTML against a MS SQL Server
database. Axiant is FAR superior to Access/VBA, particularly in complex
data handling. PowerHouse Web is far quicker to develop a web application
in than ASP/HTML.
I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Blue

Subject: Form PH 7.10 to Axiant
Hello,
I am working in The Czech Republic for Belgian company. We are
developing in PH 7.10 and now we want (we must) move to anything else.
In fact we have two possibility: Axiant or something completely new.
It is nice to read about Axiant on Cognos www pages but do You have
personal experiences with Axiant or especially with move from PH to
Axiant (2000 programs, 400 data files)
Thank You. Michal
