Data access error: solved

Please ignore my request. We have figured out what is causing the error.
(If you are not interested in the cause, stop reading here.)

For the purposes of copying the data base to the secondary system, we
changed the security matrix for the group in which the data base resides.
The restore job is supposed to reset this matrix. However the restore job
abended (for entirely independent reasons) and did not reset the security
matrix. Meanwhile, users opened the data base and the GB file assumed the
restricted security matrix. Even though we later reset the matrix, the GB
file retains the matrix as of when the GB file was created.

Solution: get all users and jobs to log off, thereby closing the GB file.
