That's because true UNIX people don't need no stinking 3rd party tools -
they have grep, at, awk, and other basic building super tools to use. ;)

Remember, UNIX people *think* differently from us mere mortals.  They don't
want user friendly stuff.

All said in jest of course. I worked with HP-UX for a year. :)

I thought Maestro worked on both MPE & HPUX? And that's fairly
sophisticated, very easy to understand etc etc. 
 (I supported it 15 years ago, think it's still on the market)
