Your best solution is to install Oracle Client on the machine with
PowerHouse on it and use SQLNet to connect to the database. This way you
can access the database as if it was on your local machine.

Subject: Access an Oracle database on a different computer

Hello All,

I have a customer who is running PowerHouse 7.10.E6 on an Alpha and would
like to access an Oracle database on a different computer which is not
running PowerHouse. The two computers are networked via a T3 line. This
appears to be feasible, at least in Version 8.3, according to the PDL OPEN
Statement. The PowerHouse Web Component Configurations also states that
"your databases can be located on yet another machine on the network". I
would like to hear from anyone who can verify that this is true, and which
version of PowerHouse would be required. Thanks.

Alfred
