FW: What's the underscore?

Is there any other way of addressing this problem.
We found that it is possible to create a "FIELD-NAME" 
(with the double quotes) in Oracle,
but you get an error message when you want to update the
field in qdesign.

Has anybody experienced this problem, or have any suggestions?
