is anyone using axiant thin client with nt as front and back ends?
if so, how do you deal with batch processes?
we're using 'run command "AT..."', but this seems to have a rather large security hole.
to have access to the AT queue, users must belong to the Administrator group on the server.
which would mean that allowing axiant users to stream batch jobs would give them admin acces to the server. call me paranoid but this seems a very bad idea indeed.
any ideas/solutions?
