Rob,

I have seen something similar on the AS/400 where the subfile gets written
to a library (directory on most other OS's) that wasn't intended.

*	We get it most where one process writes the subfile and another
process, or maybe a Quiz report needs to read it. This is usually a library
list issue (aka "path" in DOS, I presume HP UX has a similar concept) where
each part is running under a different Job Description.
*	The second possibility, and this may be purely AS/400, is that the
"temp" directory where non-permanent subfiles get kept is personal to the
job description hence not visible to other processes
*	Third choice is that the write is fully qualified ie set subfile
name directory / filename, and the subsequent pass isn't ie access *filename
but the directory isn't in the path.

hope this helps
regards
Richard

Subject: Problem in PowerHouse 8.13d on a HP UNIX machine

Hi,

I'm new to this group. I've been a PowerHouse Programmer for about 13 or 14
years. I'm getting an error, I've never come across in QTP before...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---

There was a file error on the work file SUBWORK1.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---

No such file or directory

Action Taken: Run terminated.

Anybody have any idea what causes this, I'm assuming it has something to do
with the phtmp directory?

Thanks,

Rob
