NORECALL clause on FIELD statement in QDESIGN (was: no subjec t)

RECALL on a field give the user the ability to press the up-arrow key and
fill the field with the previous value that was entered.  This is a great
feature for users who have to enter the same piece of data record after
record as it saves a lot of typing.  Most users are unaware of the feature
though!

You would specify NORECALL on a field where a user MUST enter the data.
E.g. a password or key field.

NORECALL is an OpenVMS specific option that turns off the single line recall
capability in the field.

Can anyone tell me what the use of "NORECALL" clause
in the FIELD,
it was mentioned as follows.

FIELD VOUCHER-NO OF VS-GEN-ISSUES NORECALL REQUIRED&
         LOOKUP ON VS-DENOMINATIONS &
            MESSAGE "Invalid voucher denomination character"
