PH version 2. provide linkage details and subfile syntax from each quiz 3. provide record structure index details ( only those indexes accessed ) qshow - so rec recname, Before doing the above, create test quiz copies then remove all surplus syntax leaving only the syntax which produces the data volume problem. -----Original Message----- From: Deborah McMahon [mailto:dmcmahon@telesciences.com] Sent: 11 April 2002 19:33 To: Manman Cc: Interex Subject: Quiz & Manman Shipping Performance Report I'm having a problem with a Quiz report out of Manman. THis is probably so simple, but I'm overlooking or missing something. My user wants a report of all items with a requested ship date for a particular period. (This part is easy). I'm accessing the SOEFIL, SODFIL in one pass, picking up data, then hitting the CUSFIL for more data (all getting written to a subfile), then I hit the PROMAS for more data. So far so good. Selection criteria is based on if Requested date falls within a given window. ALl this is written to a subfile. But, when I try to access the SHDFIL and SHIPFIL to link the data and pick up the actual ship date (if the items have shipped) and shipped quantities, my subfile blows up. During my first three passes, I'm getting 191 records, which I've validated as correct. When I hit the SHDFIL and SHIPFIL (using the optional function) I blow up to 4500+ records. (My select criteria remains if Requested date falls within a given window). Please help me! I'm stuck in a box and I can't get out. I know it must be obvious, but I'm missing something, or my data routine is a klepto-data-maniac! Any emails or assistance would be greatly appreciated! --- Deborah McMahon <mailto:d.mcmahon@telesciences.com> Manager Information Systems Telesciences, Inc. <http://www.telesciences.com> Support: <http://support.telesciences.com> 2000 Midlantic Drive, Suite 410, Mt.
