What exactly does "predefined" mean?

Hi Leonard,

FILLER is a standard Element, not a standard Usage. From the online books,
Chapter 3 "Standard Elements and Usages" Description of FILLER:

A standard element
added to a record-structure
to make it
longer. It can be used
once in any record-structure
or item
substructure to specify
an area of storage that is
unused. Because
FILLER is a character
element, its data area is
initialized to spaces.

<<If you create a dictionary with the PRELOADED option, it loads the
standard
USAGES (ZIP, PHONE, ID...)into the new dictionary that you are creating.
Then, these USAGES are 'predefined'.>>

Been there, done that!

Create Dictionary xxPHDN Preloaded
