Set NoDup

The issue is that SET NODUPLICATES is not designed to get rid of duplicate
records directly. It suppresses the printing of duplicate detail lines. If,
for some reason, a duplicate record results in a different detail line, then
both get reported. If the duplicates should not be there, use QTP to get rid
of them. If they should be there, then sort on the item you consider the
lowest level that could determine a duplicate and group the output on that
item.

As I recall, there was a problem in trusting SET NODUP in Quiz to really get
rid of the dupe records - caused by a link to a detail set that may have
more than one record that meets the criteria.
We're on an HP 3000 (and since when did we start calling it HP e3000 ??)
using Quiz version 8.19.c2.
Is it okay to use it now? Anyone remember what the problem was? I was
afraid to use it.
Thanks,
Nancy Tietz
