Compiled vs Uncompiled Quiz

The three (2 VMS, 1 Unix) companies I've worked at have always compiled
their Quiz and QTP.  I have this vague impression I saw one exception to
that rule.  Also I only remember one instance where a subfile was kept for
a monthly run and update.  Rarely were subfiles or their dictionaries kept.

When compiling, we would compile the dependencies.  The code I've inherited
here, normally places all dependent source in one source file.  Luckly
there are only a few reports that are extremely difficult to follow.

What advantage is there to not compiling your Quiz and QTP files?
