Re-compiling quiz programs

Speaking of the Devil of Uncompiled Quiz. What's the ratio of sites
that use compiled Quiz vs uncompiled Quiz?
I've worked only in a few (HP Only) shops that used compiled Quiz.
Performance has never really that much of a problem, vis-a-vis the
two methods. (Faux-pas such as huge access statements mess-up
performance just as much as on compiled Quiz as uncompiled.)
So I seem to prefer uncompiled, I prefer that it buys extra
flexibility with "@IF" conditionals included.

Thanks for all the input. We did first start noticing this problem when we upgraded and did a mass re-compile of our quiz programs, so having previous 'set' commands still active is definitely a possibility.
I think it will be worthwhile for me to look at our normal turnover procedures to see how quiz programs are recompiled prior to them going into production.
