I don't remember Quiz having any means to specify lock or access strategy
for subfiles. But you can probably force most of the open options with a
file equate. How about something like:

!FILE SIAMDLOG=SIADMLOG;ACC=APPEND;SHR;GMULTI

No guarantees!
