I have a quiz process that creates an html page on demand to
display on a web browser thru our QWEBS web server. As part
of this process I append a log record to an indexed subfile.
I obviously have many requests that can occur over a very
short period of time. Note that the QWEBS web server, as
with most web servers, shares the same HP session/job with
multiple clients and therefore shares the same set of
fileeqs, vars, and temp files which we have tried to
compensated for. On occasion I receive the following errors:

*E* Data access error. (SIADMLOG)
*E* The file is currently unavailable. (SIADMLOG)

I have tried using SET NOLOCK before the file append process
with SET LOCK immediately thereafter but I am still having
the *E* messages listed above occur on occasion. My SET SUB
command is as follows:

SET SUB name SIADMLOG keep append index INFOREQ1, index
LOGID

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
