Powerhouse HPe3000 Report Limit

On the Powerhouse list, the topic of fixed REPORT LIMITs on the
HPe3000 version versus the NOLMIT option on VAX and HP-UX versions
appeared:

This may sound simplistic, only because I do not know how the 
HPe3000/POSIX domain compares with the HP9000/HP-UX domain, 
so here goes:  

They why can't Powerhouse just create the file in the POSIX 
domain, with uppercase characters?

It would look and feel just like the MPE/iX domain.  Except that
Unix-like behavior would apply.  Such as the NOLIMIT option.

Am I wrong here or is this just too simple?  Am copying this to
the HP3000 List.  Perhaps they'll guide me further.
