Quiz & .CSV files

This has been discussed here before, I know, but it's a growing problem for me,
particularly the reporting width limit of 255.

Is there any prospect of an increase in width for CSV reports any time soon ?
Subfiles go wider, but then you lose the headings.
I'd be very happy with any kind of filthy unsupported hack.
Infinite would be ideal, 511 would be nice, 300 would be a help.
