I didn't know this until today either.
After a bit of experimenting I've found that Matt Ohmes' suggestion would be
better if you ever wanted to find the cubed route etc. It doesn't look very
different 1/2 = 0.5 but when it comes to recursive decimal places that's a
different matter.
x = 27^(1/3) = 3
x = 27^0.3333 = 2.99967

I was wondering if anyone knows of a QDESIGN technique to get the square
root of a number. As far as I can see there is no existing Powerhouse
function that does this. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
